Customer SCCs from September 27, 2021

.html

In June 2021, the European Commission adopted updated Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to reflect the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Court of Justice of the European Union’s judgment in Schrems II.

Except where an adequacy decision applies, the SCCs made available on this page apply to international transfers of personal data subject to GDPR under contracts entered into on or after September 27, 2021, and prior to the implementation of LSEG’s international transfer framework introduced from December 2022.

These documents are made available for reference purposes only, including in connection with legacy contractual arrangements and audit or record‑keeping requirements. They do not apply to new international transfers governed by contracts entered into after the adoption of LSEG’s customer SCCs and UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) framework introduced from December 2022.

Should you have any questions regarding international transfers or the applicable documentation for your agreement, please contact our Privacy Office at privacy.enquiries@lseg.com.
