Important Changes coming soon to the Product Change Notifications service on MyRefinitiv

Refinitiv is transforming and improving the way Product Change Notifications are created, tagged and published to the MyRefinitiv portal.

The scale of the changes we are making may require you to take action depending on how you subscribe or consume notifications today. Your current notification subscription will be migrated from legacy Customer Zone into MyRefinitiv seamlessly.

A key element of this transformation includes the standardization in the structure of notifications (both Data and Product) to make them machine-readable.

With such transformative work being delivered, the purpose of this FAQ page is to explain what’s changing, when, and what action you might need to take. As we are delivering our plans in an Agile development cycle, we will release more information around the changes and how these will look as this information becomes available.

This work is being delivered in Phases. Content Notifications (DNs) has been delivered in August 2021, with Product Change Notifications (PCNs) following on March 7, 2022.

 

What is the change?

Refinitiv are investing in how customer notifications – data and product – are authored, catalogued and distributed, developing new applications for our internal teams to author and publish data and product change information, and building distribution capabilities via APIs to improve how customers can read and consume data and product change information.

This significant investment builds new capabilities as part of Refinitiv’s platform, digital-first strategy and to address customer feedback from this well-established service.

                                 

When are the changes taking effect?

The overall program of changes is being delivered in phases as follows:

  • Data Notifications (delivered August 2021)
  • Product Change Notifications (March 7, 2022)
